I personally wouldn't mind a slightly longer commute if I was doing only 2 days a week. They scheduled me for 5 days a week M thru F. On the flip side, another applicant accepted a part-time job that he expected to be 25-30 hours a week. Usually you should avoid taking vacation time while you’re still very new.
