The only time either will have a slight "popping" noise from the driveline is during deceleration while using the brakes going down a STEEP hill, which is normal. It starts right up cold or hot and idles fine at either temp. Let it cool down and we're back going but stops again once it heats up. However, if I let it run at idle for 20 mins it will run fine. We changed the air filter and pre filter, changed spark plug, drained all the gas and added newer gas, and changed the oil while we were at it.
